What’s New:
Build 988-990
various workarounds via Pipeline Mode option for the severe audio subsystem degradation and bugs on some Android 15 devices with the new AIDL audio system
Samsung S25 series @ Android 15 – moderately reduced frequency resolution (AIDL Mode 1)
Pixel 9 series @ Android 15 – more firmware bugs and severe reduction in frequency resolution (AIDL Mode 2)
other Pixel devices @ Android 15 – moderately frequency resolution (AIDL Mode 1)
DVC now can indicate inability to detect Absolute Volume
on some Android 15 devices it’s not possible to detect Absolute Volume. Equalizer now assumes Absolute Volume is enabled and disables DVC when No DVC for Bluetooth Absolute Volume option is checked
please uncheck this option if you know Absolute Volume is disabled on your device
DVC settings page changed to describe the DVC+Absolute Volume functionality better
Android 15 restricts access to BT codec information – app won’t be always able to show the codec, but still tries to show sample rate/bits
improved parametric filter icons
Target SDK updated to 35 (Android 15)
