What’s New:
Fix Google Drive ‘Backup Too Large’ Issue
Google Drive’s automatic backups are limited to 25MB per app. This limit can be exceeded for users who have been using Niagara Launcher for a long time, and the backup will fail. We reduced the size of the launcher’s data so that Niagara Launcher gets backed up by Google Drive.
Search Improvements
We tweaked the search algorithm so it shows more app results. Moreover, searching for apps with non-Latin script names is more consistent, as explained here.
Morning Mode: Don’t activate it when a sunrise alarm starts
When the screen turned on due to Google Clock’s sunrise alarm (the screen slowly brightens before the alarm goes off), the launcher counted this towards phone usage and activated morning mode.
