Why use Lock It! Instead of other apps available?
A lot of other apps have lots of features that aren’t necessary – at Orbost, we like to keep things simple.
How many devices can I install Lock It! On?
Unlimited – the one-off fee that you pay for the app allows you to install it on as many devices as you want to or need to.
There are other features that I would like to see on the app, will they be added in the future?
At Orbost, we are always working on improvements to our apps and are always looking for feedback to understand how to improve our apps, so that they work the way you need them to. Please feel free to contact us and we will endeavour to add your requested feature to the app.
Why do you need to access Usage Permissions?
Usage permissions are required to enable the app to determine which apps are installed on the device to allow you to lock them. Lock It! and Orbost will never use these permissions to access your private data.
If my phone restarts, will the app keep my settings?
In version 1.0, this feature hasn’t been enabled so if your phone restarts, your settings will NOT be saved, and you will need to re-set your password and re-lock the apps of your choosing.
Android already have their own parental controls, why would I use Lock It! instead?
Androids built in parental controls require your child or other user to have their own account on your device where Lock It! does not.
