Easily change colors and fonts. For a unique retro touch, you can optionally activate the charismatic Flip Clock design – a premium feature that adds a special charm to your display. Adjust the font size of the digits or the overall clock size easily with a two-finger zoom gesture, ensuring perfect readability.

Intelligent Brightness Control for Every Situation

You have the choice: set the brightness of your Night Clock manually to your liking or let the automatic brightness control assist you. In Night Mode, the display becomes as dark as possible – on AMOLED displays, you can achieve perfect black.

All Important Info at a Glance

On your Night Clock, you’ll instantly see important information such as the current battery level, the date, and new notifications.

Weather Forecast and Internet Radio Included

Optionally, your Night Clock can display current weather conditions and offers a 5-day forecast for the coming days, based on OpenWeatherMap.

Internet Radio & Alarm Clock

Enjoy your favorite radio stations directly in the app and even use them as an alarm clock. Simply activate the “Quick Alarm” option.

Focus: Night Mode & Display Adjustment

To optimally adjust your Night Clock’s display at night, please deactivate your Daydreams (Settings > Display > DayDream). The clock adapts to bright ambient light or reactivates as soon as the noise level in the room exceeds a certain value.

Notification Access

To display notifications, your Night Clock requires access to your notifications. Please enable this in your system settings under:

Settings > Security & Privacy > Notification Access (or similar, depending on device manufacturer) > Enable Night Clock.

In-App Purchases to Support the Project

This project is Open Source and was developed by an Android enthusiast. If you would like to support the project, you can send a donation to the developer via in-app purchases. The extended Flip Clock view, as well as weather data display and internet radio functionality, can also be unlocked.

Permissions in Detail

android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Allows playing radio and waking up with a radio stream, even when the app is not active in the foreground.

android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Allows adjusting audio settings, e.g., to lower the volume at night.

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Allows the app to wake the device from sleep and keep the display on.

Screen Lock (Device Administrator)

This app uses the Device Administrator permission to be able to lock the screen at runtime. Important Note: Before uninstalling the app, this permission must be revoked via the device settings.
